HAMMEL Recyclingtechnik GmbH started in 1996 with three employees at the Bad Salzungen site. Through continuous development, HAMMEL has grown to a worldwide leading company, with several hundred employees, in the field of shredders and recycling technology.

HAMMEL develops efficient complete plants and special machines. Our competent team works closely together with our customers and dealers to find the optimal and most reliable solution for the respective requirements.

The assembly of HAMMEL products is done centrally in our main factory in Bad Salzungen/Thuringia. The steel structures of the shredders are produced by our two subsidiaries in Ukraine. There is a constant exchange between the production sites.

HAMMEL Innovative

The first mobile scrap processing plant worldwide was developed and manufactured by HAMMEL. With this complete plant, it was possible for the first time to process mixed starting materials, such as car bodies, into materially separated end products.

Since then, the development of market-driven processing solutions has been our daily drive. This applies to all recycling areas such as wood, waste, and scrap processing.

Even difficult tasks are solved by us, such as railroad sleepers with plates, wind blades, and dumper tires.
